Publisher's note

Who publishes Licence Check SA and what it measures

Licence Check SA is an independent editorial desk. It publishes one measurement: rows of FSCA records for crypto-asset service providers, with the date and hour each row was read. This page states what the desk does, what it cannot do, and how it is paid.

The desk and its one measurement

The Licence Check SA research desk measures one thing: which providers appear in the FSCA's records of licensed crypto-asset service providers, and on what date and hour this site read them. The rows are republished exactly as the FSCA published them, with no added commentary about safety or quality. Each table names its source under it, with a link, so a reader can open the FSCA's own page and compare the figure there. The desk reads the FSCA's public records on a fixed schedule, and every row shows the date and hour of that reading. A figure that changes at the source will change here only at the next scheduled read. This site is not a broker, not an exchange, and not a licensed adviser. It holds no client money and gives no investment advice.

What the desk does and what it cannot do

The desk checks the named public sources, records what they say at a particular moment, and republishes that with the date and hour. It does not rate a provider, does not score it, and does not conclude from a name being present or absent that any provider is safe or unsafe. The desk cannot see a reader's own account, cannot see a reader's bank or wallet, and cannot tell a reader whether to use a particular provider. It also cannot answer questions about a provider's internal practices, speeds, or customer service beyond what the FSCA's records state. When a figure is wrong because it was misread or mistyped, the desk corrects it, dates the correction, and leaves the original row visible with its original date. The reason the contact address exists is corrections. A reader who writes to editor@licencechecksa.pages.dev reaches the desk, and a correction that is needed is made and dated.

What the site collects and what it does not

This site sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics, and stores nothing in a reader's browser. It has no accounts, no login, no newsletter, and no comment form. A reader can read every page without giving a name, an email address, or any other personal detail. The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs so that the site can function and be protected from abuse. The publisher does not read a reader's personal data out of those logs, and the logs are not combined with anything else to build a profile. Nothing on this site is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer. The figures describe what the FSCA's records say, not what a reader should do.

How the desk is funded and the outbound link

The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link. If a reader follows that link and opens an account there, the broker pays this site a commission. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker because of that link. This is stated plainly because a reader deciding whether to believe the figures should know where the money comes from. The broker's own site is operated by someone else, under its own terms and its own privacy policy, and following the link leaves this site. Nothing on this site is investment advice, and the affiliate relationship does not change the measurement. The desk's only subject is the FSCA's records, and the only thing it asks a reader to trust is that the rows match the source at the date and hour shown.
