The terms on which these pages are read
These pages are information, not advice. The figures are measurements of published sources and carry the limits of those sources. This site is not a broker, holds no money and accepts no orders. The reader decides alone and is responsible for their own decision.
Information, not advice
Nothing on this site is investment advice, a recommendation or an offer. The figures describe what things cost, not what a reader should do. A row in a table records a measurement taken from a named public source, republished with the date and the hour it was read. That measurement does not tell a reader whether to open an account, fund it or trade. The decision to act, or not to act, belongs to the reader alone. This site does not assess suitability, does not know a reader’s circumstances, and does not suggest that any course of action is right for anyone. The words “should” and “must” appear only where they rest on a stated rule or a stated source, never as a way of recommending a product.
Because the figures are measurements, they carry the limits of the sources they come from. A public register can lag behind events; a fee page can change after it is read; a warning can be withdrawn. This site republishes what was there at the hour of reading, with that hour shown, so that a reader can go back to the publisher and see the same figure. The desk does not add its own opinion to the figure, does not adjust it for what it expects to happen next, and does not present a stale reading as a current one. Where a source gives no date, the table says so, and the reader is left to judge what that absence means.
What the desk measures and how
The subject of this site is one measurement: the FSCA’s records of providers licensed for crypto-asset services, read on the date this site read them. The desk opens the FSCA’s pages, reads the rows, and copies what is there. Each table names its source and links to it, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher. The measurement is taken from the source alone; no third party is asked to confirm it, and no figure is taken from a broker’s own site or from a review page. That keeps the measurement narrow and checkable. The desk does not measure how good a provider is, how fast it answers, or how safe a reader’s money would be there.
A measurement is only as good as the moment it was taken. The FSCA’s register changes when providers are added, removed or have their status altered. The date and hour shown under a table are the moment the desk read the source, not a promise that the register has remained unchanged since. A reader who needs the current position should open the FSCA’s own site and read it there. Where a row carries no date, the table shows that too, and the desk does not invent one. The reader is told what the desk saw and when, and nothing more is implied.
The publisher and what it is not
Licence Check SA is an independent editorial desk. It is not a broker, not an exchange, not a licensed adviser, and it holds no client money. It does not take orders, does not hold funds for anyone, and does not move money on a reader’s behalf. It has no accounts for readers, no login, no newsletter and no comment form. The only thing it publishes is the measurement described on this page, and the only thing it holds is the text and tables that make up these pages. A reader who sends money after reading this site sends it to someone else, under that someone else’s terms.
The desk behind the figures is the Licence Check SA research desk. It is responsible for reading the FSCA’s pages, copying the rows, dating the capture, and answering corrections sent to the address on the contact page. The desk is not a person, has no name or initials, and is not presented as a credentialed expert. It is a function: the editor who reads the source, the writer who sets down what was read, and the corrector who fixes a figure when it is wrong. Responsibility sits with that desk, and no individual is named as the author of a measurement.
How the desk is funded
The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link. If a reader follows that link and opens an account there, the site is paid a commission by the broker. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker for having arrived through the link. This is the only way the site earns money. It does not sell data, does not run ads, and does not charge for access. The affiliate relationship is stated plainly here and on the publisher page, so a reader knows that a link to FxPro is a link from which the site may earn.
The affiliate relationship does not change the measurement. The desk reads the FSCA’s records and writes what it finds, whether or not FxPro appears in those records. The broker does not see the pages before they are published, does not pay for a mention, and does not influence what the table says. A reader who never clicks the link costs the site nothing, and a reader who clicks it and opens no account earns the site nothing. When the link leaves this site, the reader is on the broker’s own site, under its own terms and its own privacy policy, and this desk is no longer the publisher of what follows.
The desk’s responsibility and corrections
Writing to the address on the contact page reaches the desk. Corrections are the reason the address exists: a figure that is wrong is corrected and the correction is dated. If a reader checks a row against the FSCA’s own site and finds a difference, the desk asks for the source and the date of reading. Where the error is in the copying, the table is fixed and a note is added to say what was changed and when. Where the difference comes from a later change at the FSCA, the desk notes that the source has moved on and re-reads it. The desk does not argue with a reader’s own bank, wallet or broker, and it cannot see a reader’s account.
The desk cannot answer questions about a reader’s own money, a reader’s own account, or what a reader should do. It cannot say whether a provider is safe, whether a fee is fair, or whether a warning means a firm should be avoided. It can say what the register showed on a date, what a source said at an hour, and what the table on this site says now. A question that asks for advice, for a prediction, or for an opinion on a provider outside the measurement is outside what the desk can answer, and the desk will say so plainly.
What the site collects and what it does not
The site has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no comment form. It sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics and stores nothing in the reader’s browser. A reader can open these pages, read them, and leave no trace with the publisher. The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs. The site’s publisher does not read a reader’s personal data out of those logs, and the logs are not used to identify visitors or to build profiles. The affiliate link is the only outbound link that carries an identifier, and it carries only the fact that the reader came from this site.
The broker’s own site is operated by someone else, under its own terms and its own privacy policy. Following the link leaves this site, and from that point the reader is dealing with FxPro, not with Licence Check SA. The desk does not see what the reader does on the broker’s site, does not know whether an account was opened, and does not see any money that moves. The commission, if any, is reported to the desk by the broker’s affiliate system, and the desk does not hold or process the payment itself. Nothing on this site requires a reader to give up privacy in exchange for the information.
